Our November 22 season opener will bring Riverside principals front and center in a fascinating chamber orchestra program of mainly 20th century gems and a local premiere by the gifted young American, Daniel Pesca, alongside a fascinating transcription of Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite to honor the great French composer’s 150th anniversary.

Our May 1st season finale offers the U.S. Premiere of a hair-raising concerto for barrel organ by Marius Constant, a truly extraordinary work and surely the only composition of its kind. Surprisingly, however, we learned that Mozart and Beethoven wrote solo works for this mechanical instrument, the latter of which is remembered in Constant’s masterpiece.
